I began reading about ingredients — what they actually do, where they come from, why some work and others don't. Then I started making my own formulas.

About why a well-made bar of soap feels completely different from something mass-produced. I loved that every decision mattered — the oil you choose, the percentage you use, the order you add things. There's real science in it, and I found that endlessly interesting.

That's how Vintage Lather started — and honestly not much has changed. It's still just me, making everything by hand, batch by batch. I test everything on myself before it goes anywhere near a customer. If I wouldn't use it, I won't sell it. It really is that simple.
